Again I managed 25 minutes of sketching at work in my lunch hour and then finalised this sketch at home tonight. I’m really learning to appreciate having a repository of copyright free photos available to work from (thanks to Paint my Photo).
This chubby little guy is a House Finch and while he’s all grey in this sketch in real life he has some red patches on his head and upper wings. I understand he’s a native of North America, and very cute!
It’s going to be a long week of sketching, as I’m working every day, but I have a selection of subjects lined up which I hope will challenge me and entertain you too.
