Oh dear…. now that there’s a bit of colour on her it’s clear that my poor fairy has a few proportional problems… body and head don’t seem to quite work together somehow! Maybe the neck is a bit long, or… you know, I think I’ve misplaced the shading under the chin and made it too fine, not chubby enough. Well, there’s a chance I can remedy that if it hasn’t stained too much, I’ll have a go tomorrow.
Still having fun though, messing around with colours and ideas. One of the great things about painting mythical creatures in fantasy scenes – no-one can tell you they don’t look like that 😀
