It’s been another lovely day today… and whilst walking the dog this morning I may have spotted my next subject. Just out of the bright morning sunlight on the edge of the playing fields, under a huge tree, there was a guy set up to practise his saxophone – he even brought a music stand with him. It was a slightly bizarre sight, but interesting nonetheless, and I expect it keeps the neighbours happy.
So, with that bit of added incentive I finally finished the baby Bluetits this afternoon. The extra contrast of their little masks and eyes has made a huge difference, as has the shadows of the feathers on their wings… and while I was expecting to create something much lighter, softer and fluffier I am pleased with the end result. Onwards to new challenges tomorrow!
