A little bit more Bluebells today… after an hour or two on a ladder filling holes and painting the spare bedroom ceiling it was a real pleasure to look down at colours instead of upwards at bright white! However, that blue sky is looking awfully garish – I’m not sure it gets to that shade of blue even here in Australia, not even in the middle of summer!
Anyway, I’ve spread the greenery out a bit now. It still needs another layer I think, something a bit darker to improve the contrast, and some more detail here and there. Then I can remove the masking fluid and start on the flowers. I’ve been very tempted to get stuck into them already, but I managed to restrain myself :-).
