I’m very pleased at how this is taking shape… I’ve loved the soft colours from the very beginning – they’re like ice cream – and now that I can see Snapdragons appearing it’s even better. I’m a bit lost on how to bring in some leaves, but that will come with a bit more practise and I’m already looking forward to trying this again.
We’ve had a tremendously hot day today so painting has been a challenge with paint either too wet and runny or too dry to move around, but after an evening on the town watching comedy – if you can call it that at our age! – there’s a southerly change coming through and the temperature is dropping. Tomorrow should be a much better painting day.
