So, today I’ve worked further with this Christmas experiment… the pudding is looking better and the holly has improved a bit. Adding a background certainly helped, but the flames are now looking a bit odd. Not to mention the plate and table – I really shouldn’t try painting stuff from memory or imagination, mine just isn’t reliable enough these days!
I could tweak this further (& maybe I will :-)). It was definitely a fun subject to try out – I like to challenge myself a little bit – and I have a better idea how I might approach something similar in the future… but for now my curiosity’s satisfied and I think I’ll try something new tomorrow ;-).
