I was wondering what to write about today, and puzzling what to do for practise when I came across this cute guy on Paint My Photo, photo by Rick Brind… so, that took care of the practise at least. Then while I sat staring at the computer after sketching I had another wave of the nasty pain that has been bothering me for most of the past week – toothache!
I’ve been trying hard to ignore it, I’ve almost convinced myself it isn’t actually my teeth, maybe it’s a sinus infection or Neuralgia? Anyway, because of parties and public holidays I have so far been able to avoid actually visiting a dentist. Unfortunately, the pain hasn’t gone away… so this morning I finally picked up the phone and made an appointment.
I’ve always been fairly good with dentists and have had regular appointments for check ups, most of which have been totally clear, so I don’t know why I’m so reluctant this time. I don’t ever get toothache though, so I think I’m expecting the worst. However, in the end you have to take a lesson from dogs and other animals and trust… Trust someone who knows better than you do and hope they make it better (without breaking the bank :-P)
