Apologies up front to anyone who doesn’t like mouths and gets squeamish about the dentist… you might want to skip today’s blog 😛
I didn’t think I would be painting anything today as I’ve been in so much discomfort all day. I learned at an emergency dentist appointment this afternoon that I have an abscess under one of my molars, it should take about 24 hours for the antibiotics to begin taking effect and I’m counting every breath until they do. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone!
I seriously considered skipping practise today and catching up tomorrow, then decided to focus my attention more productively – I’m constantly thinking about my teeth anyway, so why not paint them! These are from a quick photo in the bathroom mirror – I had ideas of going psychedelic with the colours to depict the pain, but I’m not feeling that creative :-P. Hopefully we’ll be back to a more normal (and pain free) situation and subject tomorrow!
