In a couple of weeks time we Committee members of Project Gallery are holding our own exhibition, basically to plug a hole in the calendar. So today I’ve been looking through the results of my past year of painting and trying to work out if I have a few creations I’m willing to share – this will effectively be my first ever exhibition.
I’ve managed to single out a number of flower paintings and one or two images of animals I’m happy with, and I’m now looking to paint a few ‘somethings’ that will add to the collection. This preliminary sketch is based on a drawing I did last year of my Pilates Teacher’s pets and is something I intended to try painting when I had the opportunity – well, it looks like that opportunity has arrived 🙂 .
These two gorgeous pooches are sisters and probably the most photogenic dogs I’ve ever met… they are almost inseparable and sit next to, or on top of, each other all the time.
