After yesterday’s strings of lights I was issued a challenge, well it was more of a suggestion really by my Mum, that I should try the technique on a sketch of our Christmas Tree… I couldn’t see how it could work to be honest, but I was hooked, so I spent this afternoon working on my own solution to the problem.
I didn’t use the same technique, you can probably tell that I used masking fluid – especially for the tinsel and lights (and baubles!). I have to say, I’m especially pleased with how the tinsel worked, and I think with some extra shading the lights would stand out more too.
For a first attempt I would definitely call this a success :-).
