I finally added some more colour to the Lorikeet today, it’s been a few days now since I last looked at it. Somehow this one also turned out a bit fat! I’m not sure when exactly that happened as the initial drawing was OK – it must have been all that dangling around and eating while I wasn’t looking 😉
This time I haven’t put so much detail on the head area and I think this has retained the brightness successfully. There’s also a bit more feather detail on the wing, some of which I like, and some that isn’t quite lined up properly.
I’m still pleased most of all with the Bottlebrush flowers. These haven’t needed anything extra after the first day.
