The new desk has been christened this afternoon with a quick wet into wet wash showing the soft beginnings of a snail. I think it might become my new favourite place 🙂 .
It’s a different position to sitting on a dining chair at the kitchen table, and the stool might be just a bit too high, but it gave me a better angle over the drawing board – I’m almost standing unless I put my feet on the rung that’s around the bottom, and it’s making me higher above the paper than I’m used to. It’s probably much better for actually seeing what I’m doing.
Very happy with this first stage, just needed to be less watery in places, but a great start 🙂 .
What a beautiful shiny look to his shell ,he must be out in the rain. It’s lovely Kez, the start of wonderful things to come in your new “drawing” room !! XX
